Yes, it's 100% free to use. When you switch to a new supply rate through us, one of our energy supply partners gets a new customer and pays us a referral fee from their marketing budget.

Signing up takes about 2 minutes. You'll need to:

1. Connect your utility account securely
2. Review the lower rate we found for you
3. Approve the switch

That's it! We handle all the paperwork and communication with suppliers. The new rate typically appears on your bill within 1-2 billing cycles, depending on your utility company.

Once an enrollment with a new supplier is submitted on your behalf, you'll receive a confirmation email with the details of your supply plan (price, plan duration, and supplier name).

From there, the new rate will appear on your utility bill in the next 1-2 billing cycles. The switch time varies for each utility company.

If you were on a competitive supply rate with a supplier prior to signing up with us, that specific rate might no longer be available (suppliers update their rates frequently), but you can always switch to any currently available competitive rate in the market or back to your utility's default rate.

Moving is stressful enough without worrying about your energy plan. Your current energy account with your electric supplier will terminate upon the end of service at your old address.

Don't worry about fees. Most suppliers waive any early termination fees when you move. For complete peace of mind, we provide a guarantee: if you do incur any moving-related fees, we'll reimburse you in full.

To transfer your account to your new address and start saving again, reach out to us at support@UtilityRates.com with your new address and utility provider name.

No contracts required. While the electricity supply plans we secure for you may have terms (typically 6-24 months), you're never locked in with us. You can cancel our service anytime.

The supply plan terms simply lock in your rate so it doesn't fluctuate, protecting you from price increases. If you need to cancel the supply plan itself (for moving, etc.), most suppliers waive termination fees, and we guarantee to cover any fees if they do charge.

Yes! Both renters and homeowners can use our service. As long as the electricity bill is in your name, you can choose your electricity supplier and start saving.

This is especially helpful for renters who want to save money on utilities but don't have control over things like insulation or appliance efficiency.

If you have solar panels, you may still benefit from our service depending on your setup. If you're still purchasing some electricity from the grid (most solar customers do, especially at night), we can help lower the rate on that grid electricity.
